Conference Overview

For over 26 years, Coal Prep Coal Prep has offered the most comprehensive education program on all aspects of coal preparation.  If you are a plant manager, process manager, plant supervisor, operator or quality and maintenance professional you will gain valuable information which will keep you up-to-date with current industry trends along with the many networking opportunities available.

ALL NEW – Plant Operator-Focused Workshops 

Developed by the Coal Preparation Society of America (CPSA), Coal Prep 2010’s Operator Workshops will offer basic, user-friendly courses for foremen, supervisors, and operators who oversee plant operations.  These workshops will allow you to see how the equipment works and how best to operate it, with insight and troubleshooting tips from experts on each type of circuit and equipment. 

The Coal Prep program offers you five workshops, giving you a run through of a preparation plant. Industry experts will discuss a variety of equipment types and how they operate, applications, capacities, operating parameters, and maintenance tips.  These Operator Workshops at Coal Prep provide you with the tools you need to do your job better, and make your plant operate more efficiently!

 

Workshop Topics include:

      • Screens
      • Heavy Media Separations
      • Fine Coal Circuits
      • Dewatering
      • Maintenance/Troubleshooting - including Sampling and Reporting 

 


All workshop attendees will receive a copy of the Coal Prep Plant Operations Handbook.  This valuable book, produced by the Coal Prep Society of America (CPSA), is aimed at providing plant personnel with practical information on plant operations, updated with current practices, and will become an indispensable resource for years to come!
